These two new solenoid regulator valves for early- and late-style Ford E4OD/4R100 units salvage worn valve bodies and restore proper SRV valve function, correcting wrong gear starts and TCC complaints. The ‘96-later valve bodies incorporated a two-spool anodized aluminum valve that is prone to flaking of the anodize layer, causing premature wear of valve and bore. The ‘95-earlier valve bodies have a three-spool steel valve that wears the bore, resulting in excess clearance when hot.
